C'mon ENTs is chivalry dead?!

So ENTs even though I'm a huge cynic I had to consult your humanly compassion on this subject. I roll up to class at maybe a [6.5] and realize my usual seat next to the outlet is taken (I use a laptop because of my awful left-handed writing). I politely asked the guy in the chair to move because I noticed he only had a notebook infront of him. He looked up and me and did not respond. Thus I physically grabbed a chair and moved it around him. He watched and did not flinch nor offer to help. C'mon gents I'd like to have faith in humanity!
