The next step OWS should take: Occupy the media

Before you say anything about how OWS already has their own media structure, let me say I know, but Im not talking about their own media. If this revolution is going to work it needs to be pushed into peoples faces morning noon and night. It must go for the people who don't know about the occupations, who don't go on reddit or Dailykos and basically watch the same old bs that corporate media feeds the mainstream American.

I propose that, in springtime, when the weather is no longer such a contender to deal with, we begin weakening one of the most popular and powerful pillars of the 1%, their "news". The strongest tool of ignorance, broadcasting false information to millions of our fellow countrymen, women, and children, telling them what to believe, what to worry about and what to do.
