Unibeast + Lion without a mac?
I was hoping to install Lion directly, but I see now that Unibeast only runs on a Mac (and I don't have access to a Mac). I'm a bit stumped.
I guess I could go Snow Leopard retail + iBoot and then upgrade to Lion, but I really would prefer to go straight to Lion.
Anybody know how I can install Lion directly?
Pretty new to all this, so please excuse if this is a dumb question. Oh and I was using this guide: http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/unibeast-install-mac-os-x-lion-using.html
UPDATE: I read the FAQ - sorry!
Want Lion? You'll need to start at 10.6.7, or grab a recovery drive to install clean from there. Where can you grab one? You'll need an existing Mac to make one. If you don't have that, unfortunately, you'll need to combo update to 10.6.7 and grab the installer from the App Store. Ready? Now grab xMove from TonyMac and follow his instructions.
So to achieve my original objective I think my only other possible option is to get Lion running under VirtualBox and (if USB works) create a Unibeast installer thingy from there. Sounds dubious.
