Is it worth it to learn Mandarin?

As outsourcing continues to increase, will it make someone more marketable to employers if they can speak Mandarin? I have an option of a 9 credit intensive course in the summer and I was wondering if I should take it. I would want to learn Mandarin anyways, but if it's beneficial to my career so much the better.
