Am I in the wrong?

Today while at my local headshop, I was browsing some cool jars and told my friend "I should by one of these to put my herb in." (these are the exact words I used) Then the lady who was running the shop asked me to leave claiming the jars were meant to store only tobacco. I then asked why the grinders were called "herbal grinders" and why herb wasn't an acceptable term to use, she then asked if I was referring to "kitchen" herb and I said yes, she let me stay for a couple minutes while my friend finished browsing. What makes me mad is that while she could have acted like a mature adult and corrected me or told me not to use that word anymore, She fucking tried to kick me out. Needless to say If go in while she is working again, I am going to turn around and walk out immediately.
