Discrete Structures

I am trying to plan my classes for next semester and my dilemma concerns Calc II and Discrete Structures. Calc II is listed as a prerequisite for Discrete Structures. How difficult would it be taking these two classes at the same time and is it absolutely necessary to have taken Calc II before Discrete Structures. I recognize these courses differ between institutions but I'm looking for any sort of direction or inkling at how difficult both of these courses are. I am not a math whiz, but I have never struggled in any math class thus far; I do the homework, go to class, and do well on the tests. Here are the descriptions:

Analytical Geometry & Calc II- Topics include conic sections, rotations of axes, polar coordinates, exponential and logarithmic functions, inverse (trigonometric) functions, integration techniques, applications of the integral (including mass, moments, arc length, and hydrostatic pressure), parametric equations, infinite series, power and Taylor series

Discrete Structures- Treats fundamental ideas in discrete structures and serves as a foundation for subsequent course in both Mathematics and Computer Science. Provides an introduction to techniques of mathematical reasoning with examples derived from computer science. Topics include logic, set algebra, equivalence relations and partitions, functions, mathematical induction, elementary number theory, cardinality, recurrence relations, basic combinatorial methods, trees and graphs. TL;DR: How difficult is Calc II and Discrete Structures? Is it a bad idea to take both at the same time if Calc II is labeled as a prereq for Discrete Structures?

Thanks in advance for any insight
