I poured water on the keyboard of my laptop and it went all the way through, is there any way to bring it back from the dead?

It happened during a power outage last night. It was off at the time I believe. No lights come on when its plugged in and it also does not turn on no matter what I try. I let it dry out for a day before I attempted to turn it back on. Just thought someone here might have some experience. My important data is backed up.
