Is it safe to wash a glass pipe with Rubbing Alcohol and salt?

I got a small glass pipe a month ago and it has gotten pretty dirty

I was wondering if putting the pipe in a bag with rubbing alcohol and salt then washing it out with water is a safe way to clean it.
