Need advice regarding a computer hardware RMA (pny).
I need some advice.
Here's quick explanation.
I purchased a video card from newegg.com, a PNY Geforce card. It was purchased in July, and it stopped working the first week I had it, early August.
I had registered for PNY's lifetime warranty through their website, and I received a confirmation for this. I was approved for an RMA mid August and sent the card to them in New Jersey (express mail). They received it 3 days later. They sent me an email stating the following mid October:
We are writing to advise you that your RMA (RM&#####.1-T) has been received
for processing.
A follow-up email will be sent once your replacement product (RMA)
has been shipped (including shipment tracking number).
Please allow 10 business days for processing. If for any reason there
should be a delay in shipping your replacement order, you will be notified
via email.
Thank You,
PNY Tech Support
They have yet to send me a new card or refund me. They have yet to send me an email regarding a delay of any kind. I've been extremely patient, but in all honesty I have this feeling I'm being fucked. If they ever do decide to send me a replacement, something tells me it will either be refurbished, or a piece of shit, possibly even the wrong card.
I opened a ticket, no response. I have called them multiple times over the last 3 months, the same arrogant lady answers the phone and gives me a default response of, "They're aware of it sir. That's all I can tell you.".
Can I do anything about this shit? I mean it's obvious they're taking their sweet fucking time. They may quite possibly be either delaying until they receive another card to refurbish for mine, or they simply don't give a shit I paid $600 for what was basically a 12 inch plastic kick in the dick.
How do I speed up this process? Is there anything I can do besides nag at them once a week? Are there any lawyers out there who can give me an intent letter? I'm sorry for the brash, upset post, but I'm really tired of feeling like I can't do shit about companies fucking me over. Especially when I've been patient, giving them the benefit of the doubt.
