I think I'm in over my head, can anyone help me out?

I've been curious about getting into vinyl for quite a while and only recently started trying to put in the effort to learn about it. After reading The Vinyl Guide and why I should buy an older used player rather than a new cheap one, I went in search for a used player. I found a gentlemen on my local craigslist selling a few players all for $10-$20.

I figure this means that any model I choose would need a decent amount of work, but I have a few questions about the models he mentioned. This was his response to me:

Here are some of the names of the record players.. Diamond style General Electric, MGA, model st.20, GPX Stereo 2 speed turn table w/am fm reciever, and a magnavox MX 1600 (that has been converted in to one of the older stereo cabinet).

Now, my primary question is does anyone know if any of these models are worth buying? I would assume that any record player that cheap would likely be worth the purchase, but by "worth it" I mean would it be too difficult and/or expensive to restore these models? I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible, likely over the time period of a year or more.

If anyone can help me at all, can recommend or not recommend any of those models, or can even give me any guidance at all it would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Thanks r/vinyl!
