Prognosis on (what I think is) an over-humidified cigar?

Today, I went to my local B&M to pick up a cigar to smoke in celebration of finishing my finals. I was happy to see that they had Padron '64 Anniversary's in again. I grabbed one and noticed that the cigar was squishy.

Somewhat perplexed, I tried it between my thumb and forefinger. I was holding it one inch from the cap, bu it yielded about as much resistance as a cigarette. I didn't remember them being like that before, so I went through the box until I could find a firmer one, which though far better than the sponge that was the first one, is still far softer than the previous Padron '64 I smoked.

My best guess is that it's overhumidified. What should I do?
