Taking a break from Eve is like getting a divorce...
So after being in -A- for almost a year I've decided that dealing with Russian TZ CTA's, screaming russians in fleet chat, and the never ending Sov grind that it was time to GTFO.
I tossed an app into dreddit which was quickly kicked back due to my lack luster reddit participation (lurker FTL) and decided that it was time for a break. With SW:TOR coming out it made sense.
I cancelled my Eve account and made preperations to get back to empire. This is when I realized that leaving Eve was like getting divorced. I had to sell off all my crap (CTA ships, mods, etc) then gtfo out of null to safe up for my hibernation. It literally took almost 2 days to contract everything out, make the 40 jumps back to empire, and then set a skill to train over my last couple weeks of gametime.
Leaving WoW for a while means clicking cancel on the subscription.
It took more time and preperation to leave Eve for a while than it did to move out of my last apartment.
