My Non-Profit is 1 of 5 organizations up for a $1,000,000 grant. We are the smallest org in the running and we need your Vote!

I helped found an organization called Move For Hunger. We are now 1 of 5 organizations in the running for up to a $1,000,000 Grant from Chase Bank's American Giving Awards. How much we get will be completely determined by how many votes we get through a Facebook Voting platform.

Move For Hunger, founded in 2009, is an organization that links moving companies up to their local food banks. When people move they tend to throw out a lot of stuff, and unfortunately some of that stuff is food. Our movers offer to pick up non-perishable food from their customers and deliver it to their local food bank. We also set up large food drive events all across the country. In just over two years we have grown to work with over 200 moving companies and have helped to collect over 365,000 pounds of food. With over 50 million people in the US struggling to find their next meal the need has never been greater.

We are working on bare bones right now. We currently only have 3 full time employees, so this grant would be HUGE for us.
