Recommend me some essential PC games from 2007 to now.

I had a gaming PC for about a year but I don't do much gaming, I haven't played that many titles in past few years. The only games I played were Amnesia, Skyrim, Portal 2, GTA:IV, and Minecraft. I recently borrowed a friend's Bioshock 1 & 2 copies, so I'll start playing that tonight. Recommend me any essential and great games, but I'm not really into real-time strategies or first person shooters. Thanks r/games.

EDIT: I can pirate any game, forgive me, but I'll buy what I like later so I won't feel as guilty.
