I hate to do another 1.2 complaint post but...

I haven't heard anybody else have my problem. When I start up Skyrim on the PC it brings me to the pop-up menu, yet whenever I press play, it just redirects me to the pop-up menu again. I haven't ever experienced this problem before the update, is there any fix or should I just wait until 1.3?
