Question for Mac Users: Anyone use bootcamp+Windows 7 to run TF2? Is it better?

I've heard people say TF2 runs better on windows, and I am tired of updates killing my mac based TF2 and missing out of steam game sales. I am going to get a performance bump on TF2 if I install windows 7 on my rig via bootcamp?
