College student looking for some help/advice
For me as of late, studying for classes like biology or history put me into constant panic/anxiety/depression. The cause is most likely due to me worrying that I will not learn the material, remember said material, take the right notes, finish in time, get enough sleep, etc.
So, do I take the classes that I can manage in, such as English, College Alg., Gov., and what not ? Or do I force myself into taking classes that are pretty much impossible for me to study for regardless of whether or not I am interested in the material or not ? I find history to be very interesting, always have, and science is something that fascinates me...
No clue what to do, recently figured that culinary is not the route for me to take. Had I gone that route, I would not have had to taken any of the classes that are problems for me...
I am open to any suggestions, I really need to get around to seeing a counselor, that much I know already. I am afraid that I won't be able to get a decent paying job off a GED. Had to get that due to panic attacks/anxiety from high school. I've progressed in some areas relating to anxiety/depression, whilst some areas need serious work put into.
Thanks! :D
