I've spoken less than five sentences to people today. This is a normal day for me.

It never hit me until a couple of hours ago, but I'm almost entirely devoid of personal interaction. I have two roommates I barely see, and I live in a city for school where I don't really know anyone. I never have the feeling of being lonely, despite spending most of my time alone. This makes me wonder if I'm abnormal.

Maybe it's habit by now, but I've always been pretty quiet. I remember in I Am Legend when Will Smith starts talking to mannequins because he's deprived of social interaction and I remember being like "wtf? He's all alone, he should be having the time of his life!"

I'm not afraid of personal contact, I just never feel the need to talk to people. I get outside and exercise, read books, and fill my time through other means. Otherwise, when people come up and say hi I'm just as sociable and extroverted as anyone. So I dunno.

Edit: wow, feel a lot less weird about this. Thanks.
