Stray question

So I was outside this evening and I noticed a kitten behind my apartment complex. I attempted to approach it, but of course it ran from me. A bit later I saw a different one which looks to be of a similar age. They are not full grown cats, and I fear they are strays or feral. Is there anyway I can catch them and bring them to a Vet's office with out expensive traps. I feel bad for them as it's getting cold at night.
