The subject of fossils.

Hey r/atheism I was just wondering how much fossil evidence and other stuff out there is actually true because the Christian school I went to said there was ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE in the fossil record or anything to prove evolution. I never really disputed it before but now that I have opened my eyes to the beautiful truth that is atheism what have I been missing out on?
