Trading Floor Co-ops?

I am a Econ major and I was wondering how difficult it will be to get a position on a trading floor, maybe with TD or RBC? Has anyone worked on Bay street and if so, do you have any hints for potential interviews and is the pay competitive, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
