Is there a way to view a history of classes taught or papers written about a specific medical case?

When I was young, the doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota were recommended to me because I was growing tumors and polyps at a fast rate, and no one could figure out why. They asked my family to sign a waiver saying they could publish stuff and teach classes, etc.
