there NEEDS to be a better way to call out for ammo -PS3

Ok so the title says what im about to say now, there needs to be a better way to signal that you need ammo for the PS3 players.

Why?

Well for me it seems like people dont hear the "Request Ammo" when i spam (Select) 100 times and 70% of the time they dont respond,i tried shooting on them, shooting on the ground, crouching up and down 100 times and still no response... i just want the support to get a big pop up on there screen saying "THIS PLAYER NEEDS AMMO" or something like that since we cant type, any other console players agree?
