Paramedics and/or EMTs of Reddit, do you love your job?

I'm in my first year of college and I'm planning on changing my career for next semester in light of recent events involving money issues for anything more than a bachelors degree. I just wanted to know if you like/love your job, how the hours are, and how well the pay is.
