My first tattoo's are going to be done by my own hand. Where can I get a good set up that doesn't cost my left testicle?

My first tattoos are going to be my own ideas done by my own hand. I know a lot of people are going to say that it's not a good idea and all that but I don't care. So if anyone has bought their own stuff online and have success stories and/or advice, send it this way!! I have plenty of work sent to some amazing professionals that are ready to get done in the future but like I said, I still want to do my first and probably more in the future.
