Has anyone ever made you look like an asshole/jerk when you weren't?

I'll start. Last weekend I went grocery shopping. My cart was loaded to the top and there were only two lines. A regular line and 15 items or less. I waited in the regular line.

It gets busy and the 15 items or less is empty - the store manager walks over to me & tells me to go to the 15 items or less line. Sure enough, my cart is only 1/4 of the way scanned & the 15 items or less line is jammed.

I'm getting glares, mutterings, rolling of eyes - I turned around and tried to explain they told me to go here - I would never take my loaded cart to the 15 items or less......I got a "yeah yeah - we believe you"
