If God is all powerful and almighty...

I grew up Catholic, and my mom read the Bible to me at least 3 times throughout my childhood. I loved those stories as a kid. I still do. They instil values in people and gives them faith. I understand that. I'm currently going through a phase to find my own belief. I definitely believe there IS a God (for personal reasons), but do not believe that one religion is right while the others' are wrong. (Basically I don't follow any religion)

While browsing r/Atheism, I see facts being mentioned that science obviously disproves any religion. But in the religious point of view, I see that the theist's point of view that God is almighty and can do ANYTHING kinda beats science out of the water. (Assuming there IS a god)

Which brings me to my question: if God is all powerful, why is there life? From my point of view, if God DID exist, I see him as a bored child, creating life and seeing how it unfolds. Giving us emotions to feel happiness and sadness, joy and pain; and allowing war and disease to exist. The theists say that this life is a test, but why even make a test? If we are all his creations, why don't he make us equal to give us all an equal chance to go to heaven? Some are born in poverty and war stricken countries while others are born in peaceful rich homes? If he created us in image to himself, then does he himself have human emotions such as Hate, Jealousy, Pain? He seems like a lonely guy that just wants to see what time can unfold to helpless beings.

PS. Another thing, Why make planets? why not just make a flat land? Why bother even creating other planets so fucking distant that we can only see its explosions that occurred 90 billion years ago? Fuck.

PPS. I say I still believe in God BECAUSE I believe in science. The chances of molecules just miraculously conjoining to create a cell just puts me at awe. I can't even start to imagine how the fuck cells can cooperate to make a body.
