What is this logical fallacy called?

I was texting someone, I said: "I would hate going bald, and if I were to be bald, I'd likely become bitter and hate-filled". Now I didn't mean this, but that's besides the point.

The reply I got was "I'm [them, not me] bitter and hate-filled, yet I'm not bald, so your theory is incorrect"

I can't figure out what logical fallacy this is, it's in the ballpark of Argument from final Consequences but I'm not sure exactly. Please help satisfy my curiosity Reddit, or I'll go insane trying to find out.
