How strong of a magnetic field would it take to forcibly extract all of the iron in a persons blood?

I thought about this after reading that people that have red tattoos will experience a warming sensation while undergoing an MRI.

Would it be possible to actually remove the iron from their blood, or would their entire body be drawn to the magnet (a la the scene where Magneto controls the guard in X-Men).
