Do you agree that school administrators can ban a certain type of dance?

Our school administrators banned the act of grinding at school dances and now a few students are hosting a dance with grinding allowed off school grounds. Parents are outraged, but they did the same thing in high school by defying the rules and being independent.

My question is, do you agree that administrators have a right to ban a certain type of dance? Why or why not? Would you allow your kids to attend a dance like this?
