Windows 7 won't boot

When I got home from work yesterday, I was greeted by the sight of a Dell Inspiron 11Z netbook sitting on the dinner table.

When I inquired why it was there, my wife told me that I had been tasked with removing all of "the viruses and junk" that were on it thanks to a friend's teenage daughter.

I turned it on, and when Windows 7 loaded up, I was greeted with Min 7 Anti-Virus 2012. I followed the guide at bleepingcomputer to remove it, and everything was good. I installed Microsoft Security Essentials because there was no anti-virus program loaded. I scanned the computer, it found one infected file, and it suggested that I reboot the computer. Before I did that, it said that it had auto-updated and a reboot was required. So, I rebooted through the Start menu, and as it was shutting down, the updates were applied.

I left the room for a minute, and when I came back, the computer was on the wonderful "Windows Error Recovery" screen. Windows has failed to start... blah blah blah. If I choose Launch Startup Repair, it loads the same screen back up, if I choose Start Windows Normally, I get the Starting Windows loading screen, then the computer shuts down.

When I try to get it loaded in Safe Mode, it gets to CLASSPHP.sys and hangs for a minute, then shuts down. I can't get this thing to load for the life of me. And of course, there is no optical drive for me to put a Windows 7 disc (not that I have one anyway).

Any ideas on how to fix it?
