So, I'm thinking of doing a Nuzlocke run. Which version should I use?

DS games are out of the question I'm afraid, but all GBA/GC versions are fair game. The game with the most upvotes/comments is the one I'll take on. My fate/mental well being is in your hands r/pokemon!

Should I start simple and go with Red/Blue?

Maybe jazz it up and try LeafGreen/FireRed?

Be a masochist and do Yellow?

Pick up Gold/Silver/Crystal and take on both regions?

Or go into the relative unknown and try Hoenn?
