What Regional Foods/Snacks are in my Region?
Hey /food'ies, I'm participating in r/secretsanta, and my santee has asked me for regional snacks from my area. Trouble is, I'm having a hard time figuring out what I have in my area that other people don't that I would be able to send her. I live in the SF Bay Area in California, so my first immediate idea was sourdough bread, however I'm worried about it going bad in the mail.
I've also read that apparently See's Candies, Flaming Hot Cheetos, and Red Vines are all California treats (never realized that any of these are regional).
Does anyone have any suggestions for good things to send her? Many thanks!
