Problems with redstone randomly activating

I'm building this huge pile of pistons and this requires alot of wiring. When I'm making the last piston row retract it other rows just randomly start activating again eventhough the power should be long gone. I've checked every row of wiring, none of the wires are crossing. Feels like a random anomaly which I cant fix. Tried to get like 30 delays in between all this caused was messing up the pistons even more.. Anyone, halp.

Edit: This is being build on a multiplayer server.
