Parents just got robbed, copy of my SSN and Birth Certificate taken.

So my mom called me today to tell me their TV was stolen. No big deal. She calls the cops to file a report and at this point she finds out they took more. They also stole all her jewelry and a strong box that had a copy of all of our Social Security Numbers and Birth Certificates. I just got done requesting my Credit Report from one of the 3 Credit Firms so I have a baseline of what my Credit Report should look like.

What else do I need to do to make sure the thief has no success trying to steal my ID?
