Request help with making my children's Christmas morning a Happy morning
I am a single Mom of 2 Children ages 11yr old boy and 6 yr old girl. I have been going through a divorce from their father for the past year and 8 months. I have full custody of both children with the father supposed to have supervised visits through social services. He hasn't even bothered following through with any kind of contact, let alone visiting with the children. Both children have been torn emotionally due to the irreconcilable differences between their father and I. I struggle daily to provide for them, putting a roof over their heads with barely enough left for food on the table. I work full time and make too much money for any state assistance. Their father has not helped out one bit with any kind of support, so they have to go with out the wants and some needs. I do what I can do to make sure they are sheltered and fed. But after the expenses have been paid and the groceries have been bought, there is nothing left over for anything extra for them. This Christmas will be very sad because I won't be able to have anything for them under the tree. The Christmas wish talk has already begun with them and all i hear is "Mommy I want Santa to bring me that". Yes they still believe and the magic of Christmas is what it is all about. It isn't about getting gifts. It is about Jesus being born on Christmas day. I was raised Catholic and have always been excited about the magic of Christmas. I just wish that there was someone to bring smiles to my 2 babies faces. My son is into xbox 360 games (although they are costly). He is in need of clothing and likes "skinny" jeans. He wears size 11/12 jeans, med boys shirts, and size 3 shoes. My daughter is into Justin Beiber and barbie. She is also in need of clothing. Her sizes 7/8 pants/shirts, size 12 shoes. Thank you and God Bless! I have created an Amazon Wishlist for them here http://amzn.com/w/1XN5YN1N74XWI
