I need your thoughts. My girlfriend just got home from a semester abroad. We haven't had sex in a long time. I wanted to do it immediately, she wanted to go chat/eat with friends first. Are we going to break up soon?
I picked her up from the airport and we got to my house (where she's staying 'til she gets set up). I went straight to my room, figuring she'd follow me after she said hey to my (female) roommate (who is also her very good friend). She stayed downstairs and chatted for 30-45 minutes, but never followed. I texted her multiple times (it's a big house, I didn't want to yell) during this time period and told her to come on and she put me off every time. When she eventually came upstairs to get dressed, we kissed for a little bit and then I asked her directly. She said we would be late for a dinner that our friend set up. I said fuck it, who cares. She still said no.
Now, I get not wanting to have sex. I'm not trying to coerce her into doing anything. However, I think that after a month of no sex (not to mention not even seeing each other) with the person you love, your priority would be to reverse that sexless trend ASAP, dinner be damned. Am I reading too much into this or are we at the end?
