Just how bad is the ecological crisis?
Normal mass media seems very ambivalent or confused about the topic. And yet, we always hear scattered stories like "90% of big ocean fish are gone" or "the current extinction rate is 10,000 times normal background levels" or "we have five years to stop global warming from locking in place."
So how bad is the ecological crisis, really, and what can we expect to happen if we continue business as usual?
