Should I get skyrim on the PC or XBOX 360?

So I've never played any of the elder scrolls games, but I really like the look of this one. I've always been into medieval+some fantasy stuff and from what I've seen the game looks very impressive. The thing is, the best/fastest computer I own is my laptop, which can overheat and I think may get overworked by this game. Also I feel like this game deserves a bigger screen to play it on. I've barely used my xbox 360 (although I used to enjoy playstation games when younger so I feel totally comfortable playing with a controller). Anyway after all that, I'm just simply wondering if I should get the game on the pc or xbox360! Is any of the quality or something sacrificed on the 360? I have no idea, I appreciate your opinions!
