Is it worth it to take community and justice services / correctional worker course?

Looking in to taking a 2 year community justice services / correctional worker course. Are there many of job oppourtunites for this field; or is it just another course that's not worth taking in the end ? Does anyone have a ball-park figure income? Thanks reddit!
