Reddit professors, teaching assistants, aides or anyone who deals with students on a regular basis. What's the most embarrassing situation a student(s) has put you in?
So I have been a TA working for a University for the last two years. Though its been a bit boring at times, I have had some funny experiences, one not so great for rep.
So there was this girl in my class, absolutely gorgeous. She had a sweet ass, a great rack and had these eyes that would mesmerize you. Well as the semester goes on, I find ways to walk around the class so as to not stay up at the front, especially during quizzes.
During the quizzes I would always walk around and look at how ridiculous some of the test answers were and would always creep my way over to her. I mean it was kind of irresistible considering all the students eyes would go no where but on there paper when I got semi-close. Her boobs were fucking awesome.
As the semester comes to a close, student's usually fill out online evaluation forms, and I told the class I'd give them extra credit if everyone filled it out. Anyways I start reading through them (all of them are anonymous) and I only read the comments. And then I see it, the questions asks if the level of difficulty of tests was appropriate. The response:
"Quizzes wouldn't be so hard if t.a. wasn't staring at my tits half the class."
It still freaks me out to read it, these evals get sent to the department head to choose subsequent TA's. After a month of winter break, I get an email from my department head saying she needed to speak with me about an evaluation. The meeting was short and sweet with little conversation. I told her I didn't know anything about it and she told me not to worry about it then.
