Skyrim help: Companion's guild Halted Stream camp bug? (x-post from /r/skyrim)

The Jarl of Windhelm gave me a miscellaneous quest to clear the halted stream camp and kill the bandit leader there at the very beginning of the game. So I cleared the camp and when I came back to do the Companion's Guild they gave me the same quest to clear the bandit camp. The bandit camp is marked as cleared and if I go inside the bandit leader is already dead so I can't advance any further in the companion's guild questline. Can anyone help? Can I talk to someone in the Companion's guild that will give me the next quest? This is on xbox 360
