What was your getting out process like?

I've just recently started my TAPs classes and god damn, the amount of information they give us in the 4 days is just too much. How did you deal with the information? What was most useful? What was the hardest part after getting out? Did you take advantages of any of the programs? They offer a welding course that certifies you all the way up to nuclear welding and I'm thinking about taking it.
