I just got dismissed from my school and I don't know what to do...

I go to (went) to an all boys military school and I received the news today that I would be dismissed. I reviewed some of my options with the chief of staff and I was told that I could accept the dismissal and come back second semester or withdraw and be homeschooled or go to a different school...I am in my Junior year at high school and I have up to this point an unweighted GPA above a 4.0, I don't know what to do or how missing the last 6 weeks grading period in the year would affect my grades. Should I wait till next school year and simply restart my junior year with another school or should I go back second semester with a dismissal on my record? I have no idea how to deal with this situation or what the best course of action regarding my academic future will be. I have never felt so much feelings of shame and depression in my entire life and I really need some guidance right now...Please help reddit...(sorry for the grammatical errors and thanks in advance)
