Redditor of the Christian faith, wanting to ask a few questions...

Now, you are probably thinking that I am going to bash/bitch at all of you for being atheist. No I am not, I actually browse this sub-reddit a lot and enjoy reading what you guys post. Here is what I wanted to ask...

I have been raised around God and church my whole life, and recently I have saw my perspective on things change. I guess one example would be the 9 billion+ "PUT CHRIST BACK IN CHRISTMAS" Facebook posts. That normally didn't bother me, but every year on ever Christmas it would start to fucking annoy me more and more. Finally I just blew up on somebody that posted it, threw common knowledge and logic at them, and they became furious. Just like all the other screenshots of Facebook conversations you see.

One of the main questions I want to ask is, what do I do? I read all the post you guys make, and to be quite honest I agree with about 98% of the stuff that is posted here. I believe religion and government should be separated, marriage between the same sex does not bother me one bit, evolution fucking happened, and religion should not be forced upon somebody. I cannot have a single conversation with my parents without them throwing religion into it. Examples...

Me: "I have been reading a lot, and think it would be great if pennies were taken out of circulation. it would save the US a ton of money."

Dad: "No, what the country needs to survive is God."

Me: "I think medical marijuana should be legal. It is a endless recourse, almost no side effects, and it great for a ton of conditions."

Dad: "Drugs will send you to hell. What this place needs is more church to heal people."

I guess the main point I am getting to is this. I still believe in God, and I am of the Christian faith, but I pretty much agree with everything that is posted in this sub-reddit. As a matter of fact, anything that sounds logical I pretty much agree with. Maybe it is because I have been brainwashed to believe, or maybe part of me does not want to stop believing.

I just need some muh' fuckin' advice.
