Stood Shocked at Work Today While My Manager Lead A Prayer...Twice.

I work for a company in Oklahoma whose owner is not shy about their belief in Christianity. If you live in OK, then you have definitely seen one of their stores, or have been in one if you've ever needed something "crafty". I work at the corporate building and today we had a pizza party/baby shower for a couple of women in our department. While we were standing in line waiting to get some pizza our manager took a few minutes to congratulate the parents-to-be. He was throwing out the typical "god bless..." and stuff and I just stood there hoping they had ordered at least one supreme pizza when he said, "let's go to the lord in prayer, everyone." I then stood there for what seemed like an eternity with my mouth agape looking for anyone who was as freaked out as I was. Almost everyone had their head bowed. I felt so awkward and singled out, but I didn't say anything and continued through the line. As we were finishing up our pizza a couple of team leaders started handing out cake. Our manager got up once again to say a few things and proceeded to lead another prayer. Again, everyone just bowed their heads while I sat there eating the rest of my cake and feeling so, so strange. I didn't really know how to react to this because it's never happened during one of our parties. I wouldn't even mind so much if it happened outside of work while we were not on the clock.

TL;DR Boss prayed for babies before we ate pizza.
