Motherboard ports not matching back of case properly. Help?

Hi guys,

This might be a very stupid question, but frankly I don't know where else to ask or if I'm just seeing the whole situation wrong and am missing the fix.

I just bought a Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 motherboard (along with an i5-2500k and 8GB of Kingston HyperX RAM) and am having a slight issue.

Basically, I have an old Dell XPS 720 case that I am trying to put the motherboard into. My old motherboard (a Dell one -_-) had a different configuration of positions for the ports (USB, ethernet, etc.) and positions for the PCI slots. They do not match the back of my computer where the ports would be coming out of the computer. Is there a fix for this, or do I need a new case? Or am I just seeing the whole thing wrong and being an idiot? Please help!
