What's the opinion on a United Ireland down south?
I'm from a unionist background, support a united ireland. Up north I'd reckon it's pretty bleak at the minute considering the eurozone crisis, but people will eventually forget that. I know the catholic population here is gonna overtake the protestant population, so IMO it's only a matter of time, even if it takes ages. The DUP (Unionist Party) actually were wanting catholic votes at their last convention.
So what's it like down south? I know economically it'd be really difficult, considering the north is considerably poorer than the south (per capita), but money never stopped some solid ideology, right?
