Math Help: An easy way to factor and find multiples when factoring trinomials?
When factoring a trinomial such as x^2+7x+12 and I need to find sonething that adds to the second tern and multiplies to the third, is there an easy and quick way to find what the multiples are? I have trouble sometimes, especially when I have to use negative integers.
