I'm honestly just curious. I am Jewish but I have been unsure on my beliefs of God. I tend to believe in only the physical world (except for God) and consider myself a fideist, though at that time I did not believe in a God. My view on the mind-body problem was that the mind is a derivative property emerging from the physical origin of our brain, and the perceived "nonphysical" mind is actually a series of brain functions. I think this theory to some extent lends itself to the Teleological argument, where an Intelligent Designer made the universe and made it possible for life and these brain functions. It just seems nearly impossible for an organ to create functions and processes which some perceive as nonphysical. So those are my beliefs, what are r/atheisms? What do you feel about ideas of God as a being who does not interact with the physical world?
